I wanted to make a bodycon dress, which can be a vulnerable thing to wear. I dyed the warp with planets I felt were protective, pomegranate and marigold, to try to keep that energy with me. This project was an experiment in double weave, which allows you to weave a tube without sewing anything afterward. I cut strips of rayon stretchy fabric to use as the weft, so that it would stretch to my body.
